How to Get a Job at Google

Google is best known as the most comprehensive search engine on the Internet. Over the years, the Mountain View, California-based company has expanded its role to include click-based advertising, online office tools, and other productivity software and even its own web browser. With so many different projects on the go, it’s no surprise that Google is one of the largest Internet employers in existence. While jobs with the company are plentiful, landing a position with Google requires a decent resume and plenty of homework.

Method One of Four:
Learning About the CompanyEdit

1

Visit the Google Jobs website and read up. Google takes its hiring seriously. It has devoted several web pages to the process, and anyone interested in applying for a job would be wise to check them out before proceeding:

The main Google Jobs page, located here, provides applicants with links to other relevant pages as well as a search box where job seekers can type in a keyword to find a job that suits them. Bookmark this page and come back to it after you have perused the rest of the site.

The “Joining Google” page, found here, outlines the features Google takes into consideration when hiring. Here, the company lays out what separates successful applicants from those turned down for positions. This page is necessary reading for anyone serious about landing a job with Google.

The “Life at Google” page, contained here, gives readers a snapshot of what it’s like to work for Google. The page contains a number of links to Google-related stories, which are useful for getting a sense of what Google employees love most about working for the company.

The Benefits page, found here, outlines all of the advantages provided to those who are in Google’s employ. These include, but are not limited to, on-site nurses and physicians, extended leave and extra money for new mothers, and even free legal advice. This page is worth browsing for anyone interested in working for Google.

2

Find out where Google is hiring. This can be done by accessing the office locations page, found here. This site lists every major Google office on the planet, allowing people to click the icon that corresponds to a specific city and scan job postings specific to that office. Each city has its own job page with listings located on the right-hand side of the screen.

3

Browse the “Teams and Roles” page for more job opportunities. The site, located here, connects job searchers with positions where the work is team-oriented. Those who can’t find anything compatible on the office locations page should check the Teams and Roles page to see if a fit exists. Like the office locations section, jobs are located on the right-hand side.

How to Plan a Romantic Valentine's Day Date

Want to plan a romantic Valentine’s Day date for your partner or significant other? Make February 14th special by considering the preparations necessary for activities, food, gifts, and any other element that your date might enjoy.

Method One of Three:
Planning a Meal

1

Cook for your date. Add a personal touch to your Valentine’s Day meal and avoid having to make a dinner reservation on this busy holiday. Make a home-cooked meal for your date and invite him or her over to eat with you for an intimate meal.

Make sure you plan out the recipes you want to make so you can get all your ingredients bought and ready ahead of time. It’s always a good idea to get extra, just in case you make a mistake or miscalculate your measurements.

Try out a classic heart-shaped dessert like cookies or cake, or give other dishes the same whimsical treatment by cutting or arranging them into classic heart shapes.[1]

Avoid really messy foods that could spoil the romantic atmosphere or ruin nice clothes that you and your date might be wearing. Stick to foods you both enjoy, perhaps of a slightly higher quality than you normally eat.

Set the mood for your homemade meal by lighting candles, setting up flowers, playing romantic music, using your best cutlery and plates, and any other decorations—if that’s what your date is into!

2

Make reservations at a restaurant. Call ahead far in advance to reserve a table at a favorite restaurant, or one you’ve never tried but you know your date will love. Use dinner as an occasion to dress up, or just to enjoy some great cuisine and spend time together.

You don’t need your dinner reservation to be at someplace extra fancy or expensive. Choose a burger joint where you shared your first kiss instead of a five-star restaurant with too-small portions—it’s more important that the location is meaningful or sentimental for your date.

Try a lunch reservation, or a time earlier or later than a typical dinner, to avoid the busy dinner rush that most restaurants will have on the holiday.

Ask if the wait staff can surprise your date with a special dessert, or have the in-house band or musician play your date’s favorite song or a love song.[2]

3

Order food to eat at home. Get the best of both worlds of eating out and dining in by getting takeout or delivery from your date’s favorite restaurant and eating it in the comfort and privacy of home.

Remember that restaurants will be busy on this holiday, even for deliveries or takeout orders. Make sure to call in your order well in advance so you can pick it up or have it delivered by the time you expect.

Add your own romantic touches to a takeout meal, like personalized writing on a cake, a beverage that your date loves, etc. You can even ask a restaurant if they can personalize an order, even if it’s just arranging your pizza toppings into a heart![3]

4

Surprise your date with their favorite cuisine. Find a restaurant, grocery store, or other location that has food that will remind your date of home, favorite travels, or other happy times. Think of what your date has told you is particularly special to them.

Check specialty grocery stores, international aisles, and import stores if you’re looking for food items typically found in other countries.

Find a restaurant that serves your date’s favorite kind of food, look up recipes to make yourself, or even enlist the help of a family member who knows just how to make your date’s favorite dish.

5

Get creative with how and where you eat. Make the experience of Valentine’s Day dinner an adventure in itself by doing something unique, like joining a supper club, attending dinner theater, or doing a taste test.

Be entertained while you eat by checking out dinner theater, available in many cities, at which you watch a live performance while being served a meal.

Get exposed to new chefs and restaurants by joining a supper club, or create your own “food tour” by getting just one appetizer, drink, or other small item from several different restaurants in the same night.

Take a picnic up to a scenic hill or mountain, or to a spot that’s special to your date or significant to a time in your relationship together.

You can even make dinner a unique sensory experience by feeding bites of food to your blindfolded date and having him or her guess what the food is!

Method Two of Three:
Organizing an ActivityEdit

1

Plan a special outing. Go see a movie, watch or play a sport, see a concert or play, or another activity your date would enjoy. Try for an activity that you don’t get to do together often, or that your date has been wanting to do for awhile.

Check event locations for special Valentine’s Day parties, activities, or discounts to take advantage of. Choose activities perfect for two to create an intimate date.

Go ice skating, skiing, or another fun activity that takes advantage of the last of winter if the weather is still cold and snowy in your area.

If the weather is warmer, go out and do something in nature that you and your date love to do together, like hiking, camping, or just walking around town. Or try something special like sailing or a hot air balloon ride.[4]

2

Get cozy at home. Have your date right at home, where you can have privacy, intimacy, and plenty of fun for free or very little money.

Try building a blanket fort like you did when you were a kid, playing board games or video games, watching movies or binging on a new TV series. Cuddle up and enjoy each other’s company!

If you planned an outdoor date that got ruined by weather, just go with the flow and bring it indoors if you can. Try an indoor picnic, for example, by laying out a blanket on the floor with some treats in a basket.[5]

3

Surprise your date. Go for an element of surprise for any activity you have planned, even if it’s simply an evening at home. Set something up before your sweetheart comes home, or present a gift or activity to them in a creative, unexpected way.

Try a sweet scavenger hunt or romantic treasure hunt by leaving notes or clues for your date to find around the house or all over town.[6]

Leave a simple love letter, or a romantic note written with chocolates, candles, or flowers, for your date to find.[7]

4

Travel somewhere new or loved. Get out of town and stay in a hotel, bed and breakfast, or go camping somewhere you’ve both never been or where you and your date love going.

You don’t have to make a big, expensive trip to a faraway place. You can even have a “staycation” where you stay someplace new within your own city! Or, check out a nearby town that you and your date have never had the chance to go to.

Try heading back to the place that you and your date first met, or another spot that’s romantic and significant to your relationship.

Method Three of Three:
Deciding on a GiftEdit

1

Consider your date’s interests and hobbies. Think of your date’s favorite books, movies, TV shows, bands, etc. when buying a gift. Choose something your date has been waiting for or which has a special sentimental or emotional value.

Try buying something to add to a collection if your date has a running collection of any item, like postcards, stamps, etc. Add a romantic element by making the collectible item have something to do with a place you’ve shared a kiss, had a date, or created an inside joke.

Try personalizing any gift with your date’s initials, yours together, or anything else that is personal to your date or your relationship. You could personalize a picture frame, a bookmark in a book your date will love, etc.

Think about what your date has told you they love or miss about a certain time period or place, either from earlier in your relationship, their childhood, or another special time. Try to recreate a piece of that sentimental place or time period for him or her.

2

Make or buy a card. Write in a card to let your date know how you feel, set a romantic mood, or just make your date laugh. If you buy a card, make sure you write a personal message inside it.

Try making a card with folded paper, markers or pens, and any other decorative elements you want to make it personal and unique to your date.

You can make several cards, to leave for your date to find at different places and times throughout the day for a sweet and romantic way to communicate even when you’re apart.

3

Make your gift a fun activity. Your Valentine’s Day gift doesn’t have to be an object. Make your gift an experience that you share together, whether you travel somewhere new, see a show, or go on an adventure.

Try giving your date the gift of a class in something they’ve always wanted to learn, like cooking, dancing, or woodworking. Your date can do the class on his or her own, or you can attend it together.[8]

Try ending your date on a beautiful overlook, a quaint park or garden, or someplace that is unique and special to your date or your relationship.

Try a “coupon book” of fun activities or sweet things that you will do for your date whenever he or she redeems each one.

4

Go traditional with flowers, chocolates, and stuffed animals. Try the typical trifecta of Valentine’s Day gifts, which are available almost anywhere before and on the holiday, if your date enjoys those things.

Try getting a type of chocolate that your date particularly enjoys, or another type of candy or treat they love. Personalize it with a sweet note or arrange candies into sweet words or hearts.

You don’t need to stick with an arrangement of flowers from the floral department. Try picking your date’s favorite wildflowers (from a permitted area), buying a different kind of plant they can enjoy planting outside or keeping indoors, or even making origami or paper flowers.[9]

Consider that many people enjoy a more personalized gift than what’s available at every store on Valentine’s Day, but others really do enjoy stuffed animals, flowers, and candy. It’s worth asking your date ahead of time before the holiday what they like instead of trying to guess.

How to Do Black Magic

How to Do Black Magic

Is someone standing in your way, preventing you from fulfilling your dreams or getting what you want? When all other tactics fail, you can use black magic to bring about the outcome you desire. Black magic is fueled by powerful forces and spirits, so it's important to know what you're getting into before you start casting spells or performing hexes - otherwise you might be the one who gets harmed. If you want to learn how to use black magic to change the course of your future, keep reading.

Part One of Three:
Understanding Black Magic

1

Consider the outcome you want to bring about. What trouble is plaguing you so much that you want to use black magic to correct it? Black magic is considered a dark art because you use it to get what you want by means of controlling someone else.[1] If your aim is to help others or bring about some form of peace and justice, look into white magic instead. If you want to practice magic for personal gain, black magic is what you should use. Here are common reasons why people use black magic:

To keep someone bound in place. If someone is harming you and you wish to stop them, you can use a binding spell to stop the person's actions.

To cause someone to be attracted to you. Love spells are among the most popular when it comes to black magic.

To achieve immortality or improve your health.

To communicate with the dead.

2

Know the basics of a black magic ritual. The ritual you use to perform black magic will depend on your desired outcome. There are different rituals for everything from casting a spell to gain wealth to raising the dead from their graves. Most rituals involve the following elements:

A site is chosen for casting the curse or spell.

A circle is drawn on the casting site, and a pentacle is drawn inside the circle. This is called a circle of power.

Candles, herbs, crystals, charms, and other materials are employed to help draw out the spirits.[2]

Words of power (relevant to the particular outcome you want) are repeated three times.

3

Understand curses and hexes. Aside from conducting a classic black magic ritual, there are other ways to perform black magic. Placing a curse or hex is done as a way to bring ill fortune to another person, or to make them do what you want them to do. Be very careful about using curses and hexes. It's up to you to determine whether your reasons for wanting to bring misfortune to another person are valid. You must use your power wisely.

4

Make sure you're willing to deal with the consequences. Awakening the forces of darkness can be a serious move and should not be done lightly.[3] The threefold law (Wiccan Rede) states that what you put forth comes back to you threefold. Do you feel so strongly about using black magic that you're willing to suffer should the magic come back to harm you? Be sure that the outcome you are hoping to obtain is completely worth it.

Part Two of Three:
Performing a Ritual

1

Draw a circle with a pentagram inside. This powerful symbol is present during most black magic rituals. It is traditionally drawn in the ground using a wand hewn from a hazel tree. You may use a stick or another implement to draw the symbol if Hazelwood isn't available. Choose a strategic location that will give your spell the best chance to work.

Spirits will have a harder time visiting a location that's populated by a lot of people, so choose a place in the woods or another area not frequently visited.

Graveyards are a classic place to choose if you're planning on conjuring the dead.

2

Step into the circle of power. Once inside, gather your concentration and energy. You will need all the energy within you to complete the spell. Don't let yourself get distracted.

3

Recite the words of power associated with your desired spell. Each spell has different words of power that are recited to achieve the outcome you want. If you are summoning a demon or some other spirit, you must learn its true name before the spell will work.

There is no one spell that will work to bring true love, give you immortality, and so on. Do research to find a spell, or write your own if you'd like.

4

Write your spell in your grimoire. A grimoire is a sort of textbook for spells, with instructions on how to use black magic.

5

Prepare for your results. If your spell works, the outcome you desire will take effect. Prepare for this, and also prepare for the evil that may come.

If you have summoned a demonic beast or spirit, treat it with respect. These creatures do not necessarily have loyalty to their summoner.

Part Three of Three:
Placing a Hex

1

Make a poppet. Choose a piece of black cloth and cut two layers in the shape of a small person. The shape should look vaguely similar to the person on whom you want to place a hex.[4] Sew the edges together but leave the top of the head unsewn.

Black cloth is best, but if you don't have it on hand, you can use another color.

Your poppet should be created from all natural materials. Avoid using polyester fabric or other man-made fabrics; black magic is not as easily conducted through manmade materials.

2

Fill the poppet. Fill it up with earth, a few powerful crystals, and hair and nail clippings from the person you want to hex. Sew up the head to close the poppet.

3

Prepare a sacred circle. Draw a circle using chalk or a stick, then draw a pentagram inside it. Alternately, you may draw a sacred circle on a piece of paper large enough to stand on. Light candles around the circle before you step inside.

4

Stand in the circle and speak the words of your spell over the poppet. Repeat the words of power three times. Here are a few examples of words you can use to place your hex:

To cast a binding spell and prevent the person from taking actions, repeat "I bind your feet from bringing you to harm me. I bind your hands from reaching out to harm me. I bind your mouth from spreading tales to harm me. I bind your mind from sending energy to harm me."[5]Say this while wrapping the poppet in black ribbon.

To cast a love spell over someone you desire, say the words, "Bright the flame. Light the fire. Red is the color of desire."

5

Let the candles burn down. Once they have burned completely, the hex has been cast.

PopCash Free Income better then google adsence

: How I Made Over $2.5k Just Sing Up
PopCash is a popunder advertising network that I’ve been using for the last little while to monetize some of the sites I own.  I wanted to share my experiences of using PopCash and how much I’ve been earning.
PopCash earnings
I don’t use PopCash on all the websites I own.  For example, it wouldn’t do well on a site like this.  But for say, entertainment sites, it would do really well.  One thing you need to know about popunder ads – you need to have a lot of traffic.  Luckily I do on some of my sites!
Approval and Setup
PopCash is by far the most responsive ad network i’ve come across.  I’ve never needed to contact support (because I’ve never had any issues) but they are extremely speedy when it comes to getting your domain approved.  Usually it takes just a couple of hours (if at all).  This means you can get started placing ads right away.
Ad Rates
PopCash uses a dynamic bidding system.  Basically there is no set rate for your traffic.  It varies based on the location of your traffic and the quality.  It will fluctuate for day to day and depends obviously on advertiser demand.    I received around $2 for U.S traffic.  Some  days it is higher, some days it is lower.
I’ve tested PopCash against another popular popunder network and found that popcash pays around 20% more.  So far for my website, I have yet to find a monetization method that pays as well.
Payout
PopCash does pay and they always pay on time.  They say payouts happen within 7 days, but most of the time I receive my payout on the same day.  The minimum is just $10 and you don’t need to wait 30 days or more.  You can cash out as soon as your account hits that amount.
You can request payouts to PayPal, Paxum or Payza.
In Conclusion…
If you have a website with lots of traffic and it’s in the right niche (entertainment, wallpapers etc) then you should definitely try popcash.  Monetizing via other methods on these types of sites just don’t make you as much cash.  PopCash is by far the best popunder network I’ve come across – they have the best rates in the industry, super fast payouts and a great backend.

How to Build a Robot at Home

Do you want to learn how to build your own robot? There are a lot different types of robots that you can make by yourself. Most of the people want to see a robot perform the simple tasks of moving from point A to point B. You can make a robot completely from analogue components or buy a starter kit from scratch! Building your own robot is a great way to teach yourself both electronics as well as computer programming.

Part One of Five:
Assembling the RobotEdit

1

Gather your components. In order to build a basic robot, you'll need several simple components. You can find most, if not all, of these components at your local electronics hobby shop, or at a number of online retailers. Some basic kits may include all of these components as well. This robot does not require any soldering:

Arduino Uno (or other microcontroller)

2 continuous rotation servos

2 wheels that fit the servos

1 caster roller

1 small solderless breadboard (look for a breadboard that has two positive and negative lines on each side)

1 distance sensor (with four-pin connector cable)

1 mini push button switch

1 10kΩ resistor

1 USB A to B cable

1 set of breakaway headers

1 6 x AA battery holder with 9V DC power jack

1 pack of jumper wires or 22-gauge hook-up wire

Strong double-sided tape or hot glue

2

Flip the battery pack over so that the flat back is facing up. You'll be building the robot's body using the battery pack as a base.

3

Align the two servos on the end of the battery pack. This should be the end that the battery pack's wire is coming out of The servos should be touching bottoms, and the rotating mechanisms of each should be facing out the sides of the battery pack. It's important that the servos are properly aligned so that the wheels go straight. The wires for the servos should be coming off the back of the battery pack.

4

Affix the servos with your tape or glue. Make sure that they are solidly attached to the battery pack. The backs of the servos should be aligned flush with the back of the battery pack.

The servos should now be taking up the back half of the battery pack.

5

Affix the breadboard perpendicularly on the open space on the battery pack. It should hang over the front of the battery pack just a little bit, and will extend beyond each side. Make sure that it is securely fastened before proceeding. The "A" row should be closest to the servos.

6

Attach the Arduino microcontroller to the tops of the servos. If you attached the servos properly, there should be a flat space made by them touching. Stick the Arduino board onto this flat space so that the Arduino's USB and Power connectors are facing the back (away from the breadboard). The front of the Arduino should be just barely overlapping the breadboard.

7

Put the wheels on the servos. Firmly press the wheels onto the rotating mechanism of the servo. This may require a significant amount of force, as the wheels are designed to fit as tightly as possible for the best traction.

8

Attach the caster to the bottom of the breadboard. If you flip the chassis over, you should see a bit of breadboard extending past the battery pack. Attach the caster to this extended piece, using risers if necessary. The caster acts as the front wheel, allowing the robot to easily turn in any direction.[1]

If you bought a kit, the caster may have come with a few risers that you can use to ensure the caster reaches the ground.

How to Cope With Culture Shock After a Trip Abroad

Trips abroad are incredible, often life-changing experiences that show you the world in a whole new light. Returning home after such a powerful journey can be difficult, but there are ways to make it easier. Taking care of your physical and mental health, connecting with your old life in meaningful ways, and keeping the spirit of your trip alive will help make your transition as smooth as possible.
Method One of Three:
Adjusting to your Old HomeEdit

1
Set a proper sleep schedule to combat jet lag. After a long time abroad, a plane trip to a new time zone can be tricky to deal with. To make it easier, set a consistent time to be in bed each night and stick to it. Adjust it in 15-30 minute increments until you’re synced back up.[1]
If you have trouble falling asleep, put on some relaxing music, take a hot bath, or sit in a chair and read for a few minutes. Make sure to avoid digital distractions like phones and computers.[2]

2
Get outside and exercise. Regular exercise helps your body stay healthy when adjusting to a different environment. Doing it outside gives you a chance to adapt to the new climate and re-experience your old home. The more physical presence you have in a place, the easier it will be to become emotionally close to it.[3]
Good places to run include local trails, parks and, if you’re enrolled in school, the campus itself.

3
Enjoy the things you missed while you were away. Visit your favorite local store, restaurant, or coffee shop. Take a hot shower, lavish sleeping in your own bed, and eat your favorite foods. Use these as tools to help you appreciate being home.

4
Give yourself time to relax. From traffic signs, types of food, and social etiquette to the entire speed of life, school, and work, returning home can be an incredibly overwhelming experience. If you feel exhausted or frustrated, give yourself a day or two to relax on your own. Remember that adjusting to a new style of life takes time, so don’t worry if you make mistakes along the way.
If your schedule doesn’t leave much time for relaxation, take a few minutes in the morning to meditate. Close your eyes and let your mind focus on taking deep, steady breaths.

5
Talk to a therapist if you’re feeling depressed or distant from others. After such a major experience, returning home can bring with it any number of emotions. A therapist can help you talk through and understand them, providing solutions to any stress or anxiety you may be feeling. Even if you think it’s unnecessary, therapy can unearth thoughts and feelings you didn’t know you held, making it easier to cope and adjust.[4]
If you studied abroad for school, therapy is often included in your university fees, so make sure to schedule an appointment with your school counselor.
